About registration under the Trans-Tasman
Mutual Recognition Act 1997 (TTMRA):

 
Can I pay the application for registration fee in a currency other than the NZ dollars?

No. Payment must be in NZ dollars. Either by a Bank cheque in NZ dollars or by creditcard (Visa or Mastercard only)

 
Can I pay my application for registration fee by Credit Card?

Yes. Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted.

 
My employer will pay my application for registration fee, but wants an invoice from the Board. Will the Board issue an invoice?

No, we do not issue invoices for registration fees, but a receipt will be issued with the letter acknowledging your application.

I want to claim the application for registration fee back from my employer. Will I receive a receipt from the Board for my application fee payment?
Yes, the Board will send both an acknowledgment letter and a receipt very shortly after the application has been received in the Board's office.

 
Can I practice once I have submitted my TTMRA application to the Board?
No. You will need a practising certificate to practice in New Zealand once registered. [Link to practising certificate information].Once you have an Practising Certificate you can practise.
