The Board does not maintain a list of psychologist vacancies nor can it help psychologists find positions. (These are not Board functions under the HPCA Act.)

The national daily newspapers (New Zealand Herald, The Dominion Post, The Christchurch Press, Otago Daily Times) are also a source of job advertisements, as are the newsletters and websites of the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists and NZ Psychological Society.
It is recommended that overseas trained psychologists seek an initial Non-Binding Assessment from the Board. This will suggest what the likely result of a formal registration application might be, before progress on any employment contract negotiations.
