Board meeting schedule for 2012

The Psychologist Board normally meets four times a year in Wellington, and also conducts some business by email and teleconference to keep costs down and to progress more urgent matters.

The Board's meetings in 2012 are scheduled for:

15 & 16 February (1.5 days)

9 & 10 May (2 full days)

21 & 22 August (1.5 days) (Melbourne)(followed by a joint meeting with the PsyBA on 23 August)

7 & 8 November (2 full days)

 

Psychology Profession Advisory Forum (PPAF) meeting schedule for 2012

The Board uses various means to consult with its stakeholders, with one of the most important being its quarterly meetings with representatives from the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists, the NZ Psychological Society, and University Heads of Department. The meetings for 2012 are scheduled for:

15 February (morning)

8 May (afternoon)

August (TBD)

6 November (afternoon)     

 

Board forums in 2012

One of the Board's key responsibilities is linking with stakeholders. Board representatives routinely present at the NZCCP and NZPsS conferences each year, and have begun meeting with Interns and psychologists in the regions. The following Board forums have been scheduled for 2012:
