The Psychologists Board meets six times a year in Wellington, and also conducts some business by email and teleconference to keep costs down and to progress more urgent matters.

The Board uses various means to consult with its stakeholders, with one of the most important being its quarterly meetings with representatives from the NZ College of Clinical Psychologists, the NZ Psychological Society, and University Heads of Department. Meetings are currently scheduled for the afternoons of:
