Board Meetings
The Psychologists Board usually holds 3-4 face to face meetings each year
and any additional meetings by teleconference, as required.
Scheduled Board Meetings for 2008:
- 13-14 March - Board meeting
- 28-29 May - Board Meeting
- 11-12 September - Board Meeting
- 27-28 November - Board Meeting
Board meeting agendas normally include Board Governance issues including:
- Policy Review
- Policy Development
- Linking to stakeholders and owners
- Monitoring organisational performance
Board members are required to declare any conflicts of interest arising out of agenda
items.
In addition to Board meetings and any Committee meetings,
Board members and secretariat staff are involved in regular meetings with
our professional associates, including:
- other Health Regulatory Authorities of New Zealand ("HRANZ")
- New Zealand Psychological Society
- New
Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists
- Government departments/agencies
Representatives from the
Board, the Society and College attend regular meetings of the Psychology
Profession Advisory Forum ("PPAF"), which includes Heads of Department
representatives from various tertiary education organisations
(Universities). |
